Original era manufacture. Clean blade with a steel patina finish, showing a band of blue on each side of the ricasso. Wilkinson marked with a date of 5 15. Dark steel finish to the guard and pommel with a touch of surface corrosion on the muzzle ring. Original finish wood grips displaying minor marring and denting from service use. Black leather bodied scabbard with sound stitching, steel patina finish to the chape and throat. Canvas frog with a soldier's number written on the reverse.
