Original era manufacture. Parkerized blade finish with a band of blue at the base. No real issues with the blade, no corrosion, point remains sharp, evidence of a very light period sharpening to the edge. Numerous markings on the ricasso, with a faint makers name, SANDERSON, with a manufacture of 10 '16. Blue steel finish to the guard and pommel, operating lock button. Original finish wood grips. Black leather bodied scabbard with a steel throat, and steel chape. Nice bayonet.
