Original era manufacture. A very nice example of a standard pattern 07 bayonet with nearly all of the original blue finish remaining to the guard and pommel.The bright finish blade is clean, point sharp, no sharpening issues, with a one inch band of blue at the ricasso. Maker marked Wilkinson and dated 3-16, one one side and Broad Arrow 16 on the other. Original finish wood grips, again in very clean condition, with a 13 x 8 mm dent on the reverse grip plate; otherwise the grips are very nice. Black leather bodied scabbard with very clear markings; near 90% blue finish steel throat and chape.  One of the nicest WWI vintage British bayonets we have had in a long, long while.
