Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a standard pattern 07 bayonet with original finish to blade, guard and pommel. The blade is clean, point sharp, no sharpening issues, with a one inch band of blue at the ricasso, and a factory gray finish to the remainder. Maker marked Wilkinson and dated 2 '18.Original finish wood grips, blue finished guard and pommel with what likely unit markings 2 E 880. Black leather bodied scabbard with clear markings, blue finish steel throat and chape.  An exceptionally clean example of a British WWI bayonet.
