Original era manufacture. Dark blue blade finish, no issues with the blade, no nicks or corrosion, point remains sharp. Numerous markings on the ricasso, with a makers name of WILKINSON and what appears to be a date of '18. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, with original finish wood grips, displaying typical marring and denting from service use.Rough texture finish black leather bodied scabbard, with an olive paint finish to the throat and chape. Clean bayonet.
