Original era manufacture. A clean example of a standard pattern 07 bayonet with a cleaned finish to the blade, guard and pommel. The blade is clean, point sharp, no sharpening issues, and a cleaned steel patina finish to the remainder. Maker marked Wilkinson and dated 4-17. Original finish wood grips, displaying typical marring and denting from service use. Black leather bodied scabbard with a steel throat and chape.Original green canvas frog, with a 5-inch strap on the reverse. Normal age and wear overall.
