Original period manufacture. Nice quality private purchase identity disc, with Birmingham silver proofs on the reverse. Named to George (G.J.) Chappell, 3786, Gordon Highlanders, with his religious preference listed as Nonconformist. Measures 43 mm, including the loops. Awarded the 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal.
