Original period manufacture. Presented to Arthur Moss Hutchings, who received his discharge due to wounds in 1916. During WWI, he served with the 22nd Provisional Battalion, Northumberland Fusilers. He enlisted on the 7th of September 1914, and received his discharge on 4 December 1916.The Northumberland Fusiliers participated in the Battle of Albert (Somme Offensive) in July 1916.
