Original era manufacture. Bronze medal with Great War 1914-18 clasp. Original ribbon, and named on the edge to Lewis Cox. Clean condition with original long ribbon. Awarded to Special Constables who served without pay during World War I, performing at least 150 police duties, made them eligible to be awarded this medal. Those who received the medal during this time  were entitled to the 1914-18 clasp.
