Original era manufacture. British made steel helmet complete with its original liner and chinstrap. War Office stamped on the underside of the oilcloth liner. Size stamped 6 3/4 on the leather liner strap. Nicely stenciled on the left side is a regimental flash of the tartan for the Gordon Highlanders. It shows honest agecommensurate with the rest of the helmet.The original chinstrap is intact, a bit weak, with one properly done repair on one side.
