Original era manufacture. Brass bodied telescope with a leather covering over the central portion of the body. There is a fitted leather cup on each end, which is secured with a carrying strap.The narrow portion of the adjustable tube, just below the eyepiece, is Broad Arrow proofed, 1916 dated, and bears the initials T.T.& H. Ltd.When fully extended the telescope measures nearly three feet in length, the optics appear clear, but I cannot get it to focus, likely a case of operator error. When closed up for carry, the measurement is 11.5 inches with lens covers in place. Overall the rig is very clean, no damage to the leather covering and the shoulder strap is not broken.
