Original era manufacture. French 75mm shell made into a scoop, or scuttle. Inscribed on the body, "This was made from a French .75, by a Stretcher Bearer of the Queen Victoria's Rifles, at Voormezell Flanders, May1915.The base of the shell is dated 1910, pleasing brass patina finish.It measures 5.5 inches in length.
