Original era manufacture. Olive green aluminum bodied trench periscope measuring 17 inches in height. At front is a fold-down, bayonet like projection to allow the periscope to be inserted in a trench wall, or between sandbags for viewing.Made by Dixey, Finch & Armstrong, No.24 with Broad Arrow proofs on the top. I cannot get a view through the eyepiece, so something is certainly amiss in the interior. Great display item nonetheless, with a rather well worn tan canvas storage bag.
