Original era manufacture. Another example from the same collection as the one offered last week. Winchester manufactured bayonet for the British War Department, contract of 1913. Generally these will be found with Remington markings with only 225,000 of the near 1,500,000 bayonets produced being manufactured by Winchester.  Very clean finish blade with steel patina, and faint remnants of the blue band at the ricasso, no corrosion or sharpening issues. Original blue finish, blended with steel patina remaining on the guard and pommel, with American pattern original finish grips. Black bodied leather scabbard with a WWII era pale green canvas frog. A very scarce example of this pattern bayonet.
