Original era manufacture. Winchester manufactured bayonet for the British War Department, contract of 1913. Generally these will be found with Remington markings with only 225,000 of the near 1,500,000 produced being manufactured by Winchester.  Very clean original finish blade with a blue band at the ricasso, no corrosion or sharpening issues. Original blue finish remaining on the guard and pommel, with American pattern original finish grips. Black bodied leather scabbard with a very nice brown leather frog which is Broad Arrow proofed over 18. A very clean and rather scarce example of this pattern bayonet.
