Original period manufacture. Silver, WWI British War Medal, named on the edge to 103291 PTE.1.J.R.WATSON.R.F.C.. Ancestry and Fold 3 provide some interesting information, the document providing basic service information on RNAS, or RFC trade classifications, numbers 103261 through 103353, his is the only listing stating Aerial Gunner. In addition, an enlistment document gives his date of birth as 1886, town, Colorado, United States. Copies of these documents are included with the medal.
