Original era manufacture. A very solid example in a size7. Named on the sweatband to one O.Gilbert Davies, with an inkstamped date in the rear of the lining,6-Feb 1918. The helmet is not crushed or broken and shows only some minor scuffing on the leathertrimmed edge. Maker marked in the crown and sweatband, Hawkes & Co. Ltd.
