Original era manufacture. British WWII Paratrooper helmet with netting and original liner with chinstrap. Maker marked and dated 1944, size 7 3/4. Spots of surface loss on the leather liner on the opposite side of the makers name. The helmet shell looks to have been repainted at some point, perhaps by the Royal Army themselves, as these helmets were often re-furbished during postwar use.
