Original era manufacture. Helmet shell pattern used by Airborne and other units during WWII. This example has the Dispatch or Messenger rider liner, with the leather neck covering and thick leather brow bumper and a wide leather sweatband. Maker marked BMB 1942,size 6 1/4.Never worn, storage wear only, bit of surface staining to the helmet's shell, with a rough texture finish.
