Original period manufacture.. Multi-color cotton embroidery, with a blue silk sky, all on an olive wool background. East Kent was in the forefront of activity during WWII,  major events included the Dunkirk Evacuation, Battle of Britain and the Blitz. In addition the area served as a staging and preparation area for Operation Overlord, and the Invasion of France. Suffering from continued German V1 and V2 rocket strikes. Honest wear and use. Nice home-front look to it.
