Original era manufacture. Difficult to date exactly as there were a number of ship's given the name Scorpion during the WWII era. The last was launched in 1946 and scrapped in 1971. Another was sunk by the Japanese in 1942, while yet another was launched in 1942 and sold to the Dutch in 1945. White cotton top of a rigid form, black silk band with the ships name embroidered in gold wire. Intact, non-elastic cloth chinstrap, named on the interior to R.H. Walker. Small size, normal age and wear.
