Original era manufacture. A very clean example with a brass grip with the bead and rib design to its surface. Broad Arrow over 12 on one side, pleasing brass patina finish to the grip. Simple, oval shaped blue steel finished guard which is export marked ENGLAND.The blade is very, very clean, displaying a small amount of finish wear to the edges, needle-sharp point, and clear cross grain finish to the steel. Standard brown leather scabbard with two horizontal attaching tabs, darkened brass chape secured by a single rivet on its reverse. The elastic cloth pommel strap is intact, ENGLAND export proofed on the top of the scabbard body. Slight musty smell from old storage.
