Original era manufacture. Steel patina finished 12 inch blade, with a false edge at the tip. R.F.I. (Rifle Factory Ishapore) marked on the ricasso. Scattered areas of corrosion staining along the length of the blade. Thick wooden slab-like grip plates, with a black painted guard, tang and pommel.. The pommel has a period applied number 44.Normal age and wear overall. No scabbard.
