Original period manufacture. Made at Rifle Factory Ishapore (RFI) and dated 10-43. Twelve inch blade made without fullers and with a false edge on the top of the blade. Clear markings on both sides of the ricasso. Plain wood grips which have been cleaned, square type pommel with an operable lock button. Steel mounted, black leather frog with a khaki canvas frog. Normal age and wear.
