Original period manufacture. Made at Rifle Factory Ishapore (RFI) and dated 45.Twelve inch blade made without fullers and with a false edge on the top of the blade. Nearly all of the original finish remains on the blade surface. Clear markings on both sides of the ricasso. Plain wood grips in original finish, square type pommel with an operable lock button. Steel mounted, black leather scabbard with what appears to be a plated finish to the throat and chape.A very clean example overall.
