Original period manufacture. Standard E-Tool as issued to the British Tommy and other Commonwealth Troops during WWII. 1944 dated tan canvas carrying case and cast steel blade. The removable handle has the mounting point on its end for the spike bayonet, so as to be able use the thing as a mine probe, now there's a thought!! Solid shape, light age and wear.
