British WWII M1940 Battledress Tunic, 1944 Dated, Size 16

Original era manufacture. Very clean, British made tunic with a clear issue tag sewn to the interior. Size marked 16 which will fit a man 6'1-6'2 inches with a 40 inch chest, about a 40 Long in Yank speak. Sewn to the sleeves and shoulders are Canadian Para insignia, and I'm not sure that they are original WWII examples. The Sergeant stripes certainly look period, none of the insignia glows under a UV, but we're just not sure. So we will offer this as an original period tunic with new, collector added insignia. It has a great look to it and displays quite well.
