Original era manufacture. An interesting lot consisting of a WWII trio of medals, court mounted by the prestigious firm of Spink & Son Ltd, London.The medals are the 1939-1945 Star, Africa Star and 1939-1945 War Medal with Oak Leaf. The medals are mirror-bright, and expertly mounted with the Spink label on the reverse.Accompanying the bar is an original shipping box addressed to the next of kin of L/Cpl G.W. Carver, along with a short letter of condolence from the Under Secretary of State for War.    The medal bar and paperwork were purchased from the same collection here in Arizona. Our seller had the medals mounted by Spink about 20 years ago, but couldn't remember if the paperwork came with them originally.So, research time for the next owner..should be a fun little project.
