Original era manufacture. Large pattern compass with a heavy brass frame which has a black paint finish. Liquid filled body with a glass bezel. The liquid has long since evaporated leaving a stain on the bottom of the bezel, still points North though and still works. Clear markings on the bottom of the compass with a 1940 date. Comes with a brown leather storage case. Normal age and wear.
