Original era manufacture. All steel construction bayonet scabbard with a cruciform blade configuration. Blue steel finished socket, with clear markings on each side, S M, Singer Manufacture. Bright finish blade, with a slight bend about 1.5 inches from the point.Blue finish to the scabbard, the throat is unmarked. While the locking mechanism moves up and down, the spring no longer operates.
