Original era manufacture. All steel construction bayonet scabbard with a cruciform blade configuration. Blue finish on the socket and scabbard.On the top of the scabbard throat is a Broad Arrow proof, with rather faint markings on the side of the socket, to include the letters SM, which I believe indicates the Singer Manufacturing Company. The lock push-button works properly, normal age and wear overall, the blade displays a steel patina finish, mixed with . Very clean tan canvas frog with a leather attaching tab.
