Original period manufacture. Standard issue spike bayonet with a parkerized finish to the blade, and what appears to be a black painted scabbard.Made by the Stevens Savage Plant in Massachusetts during WWII under a Lend-Lease agreement with Britain. Maker marked with a large square shaped S in a box on thepush button.Comes with a very clean Canadian made tan canvas frog dated 1949.
