Original period manufacture. A sound example of this scarce bayonet, the blade is brightish, with a slightly rounded point. Mix of black paint and steel patina finish to the blade and guard, original finish wooden grips, displaying typical marring and denting from handling and service use. Black paint finished sheet steel scabbard with lip. No markings except on the top of the grips, B 9977.
