Original period manufacture.Bright finished cruciform blade spike bayonet with a blue steel socket and scabbard. The blade remains bright with some minor scattered staining and clouding from age. Maker marked on the socket No.4 MkI S.M. for Singer Manufacturing Company of Clydebank Scotland. Comes with a brown leather frog of stitched & copper rivet construction.
