Original period manufacture. Standard E-Tool as issued to the British Tommy and other Commonwealth Troops during WWII. 1944 dated tan canvas carrying case and cast steel blade. The removable handle has the mounting point on its end for the spike. I looked for a date on the blade but could only find the neme ELWEI. Cover is sound but shows soiling from use, shovel blade looks very clean beneath the cosmoline.
