Original era manufacture. A very attractive looking and well made full dress visor hat as worn by an officer of the Royal Artillery prior to WWII. Beautiful fire gilded RA emblem on the front of the cap, dark blue top, piped in red with a red wool band. Black patent leather chinstrap secured with two brass RA buttons and a black leather visor with a bound edge. Wide brown leather sweatband, size marked 7, full internal sweat shield with an oval makers label beneath. A very nice looking hat showing light age and wear.
