Original era manufacture. Red wool cap with a black cotton band and piping, and a large brass 2 on the front. Simple brown leather sweatband which displays the makers name in silver, "Golden King" on a panoply of what looks to be Zulu shields.Yellow silk lining with a decorative stitch reminiscent of the British Union Jack. Amazingly the very thin leather chinstrap remains intact.No moth issues to report. Small size.
