Original era manufacture. A well made copy of formed resin, with a white cloth covering and puggaree. adjustable leather sweatband, with a removable brown leather, adjustable chinstrap and a stamped brass helmet badge for the famed, 24th Regiment of Foot.The exterior of the helmet shows wear and use, with evidence of old blanco being applied to the cloth cover, but no damage. The helmet is a large size, about a European size 60, or US 7 1/2. The helmet looks to have some age to it, so perhaps was a prop in Zulu, or Zulu Dawn, no proof of that, just a guess.
