Original period manufacture. First model bayonet with the step in the muzzle ring, and an 11-09 issue date on the reverse side of the pommel.Original finish blade and wooden grips with period acceptance markings. An attempt was made to sharpen the blade edge.Leather covered bayonet scabbard with an integral belt loop, with light scuffing to the surface. Typical age and wear overall.
