Original period manufacture. 2ndt pattern Ross Rifle bayonet without the little muzzle ring extension on the reverse side of the guard. Ross Rifle Co Quebec Patented 1907 on the pommel obverse and issue date of 1/16 on the reverse. The blade is clean, with a bright steel patina finish to it and the guard, dark blue finish to the scabbard. Typical dark brown leather scabbard with integral frog in good repair. Normal age and wear overall.
