Original era photography. A wonderfully detailed, large format photograph of Chinese diplomats and American military officials circa 1900-1910.Many of the individuals in the photo are shown holding Chinese and American flags; the American Army officer in the front row is shown wearing two campaign medals, to me they appear to be the Indian War and Spanish campaign.One of the charming aspects of the photo is the face of a person in the upper left window, peeking through to see what the fuss is all about.Nanking photographer logo in the lower right corner. The wooden frame measures 16.5 x 13.5 inches, the image itself 10 x 8 inches.From our own collection, for at least 35-40 years, now being offered due to a lack of wall space.
