Cpl Fisher was a 19 year old clerk when he enlisted on 7/29/1862 as a Corporal. On 7/31/1862 he mustered into "C" Co. MA 34th Infantry. In 1864 he was commissioned into "A" Co. US CT 25th Infantry. He was promoted ot 1st Lieut 11/14/1864 (As of 25th UC Inf) and to Capt 11/18/1864. He was a member of GAR Post #80 (Arthur G. Biscoe) in Westborough, MA and died 5/23/1892.
