Item #69331 : Original period manufacture. A handsome old bayonet with its original black leather bodied scabbard. Clear markings on both sides of the ricasso. Even gray steel yataghan blade with a nice luster to the finish, no corrosion issues. Unbroken leather scabbard body, the chape has lost its securing rivets at some point in time, being replaced with twisted brass wire.
