Original era manufacture. A near exact copy of the US M1 Garand Bayonet. Kiesling describes this as a German made copy of the US bayonet, illustrated on page 120. Dated on the ricasso 1955, with the initials FKF (Forsvarets Krigsmaterial Forvalning). The same initials and crown can be seen on the scabbard throat, unpainted brown woodgrain plastic scabbard, with wear to the tip. The blade is clean, sharp tip with wear to the parkerized finish.
