Original period manufacture. T-shaped, blue steel blade which measures 14 inches in length. Blue finished guard and pommel with wood grips secured by two steel rivets. All leather scabbard with an integral leather frog. The scabbard and frog are sound in spite of the scuffing to the leather surface. Scarce bayonet.
