Item #69979 : Original period manufacture. Stone gray canvas shelter half with all grommets in place. Matching stone gray canvas tent pole bag with a clear 1916 date, three unmarked, correct pattern wood pole sections, three metal pegs each displaying a 15 date, each of different manufacture. The shelter half has a Weimar era Wurttemberg police property stamp in several places, however a 1918 date and circular WWI era stamp are also visible. There is an irregular stain at the center of the shelter half as shown. This has caused the fabric to deteriorate but so far no hole has formed. This could be removed and patched if correct fabric could be sourced. Scarce set of WWI German field equipment, once available in the millions, now made of unobtainium.
