Item #69778 : Original period manufacture. Regulation size cast brass belt plate with an applied silver wreath, narrow tongue on the reverse. Numbered, forward of the catch 550. Originally the wreath extended above the eagle's wingtips, but, as with many other examples of this buckle, they have been lost to time through age and use.
