Item #68623 : Original period manufacture. Interesting belt, 4 pockets on the left, 5 on the right, each secured with a rimmed eagle button closure snap. The underside of the front pocket snap on each side is MILLS marked and dated 1916. No securing snap on the left side for the M1911 magazine pouch. Metal equipment tag on the right side, center pocket flap, identified to the 11th Cavalry. MILLS marked brass adjusting tabs. Overall a very sound belt, displaying honest service use and wear.
