Original era manufacture. Perhaps German manufacture, displaying Bavarian and Saxon influences. Overall length measures 25 inches with a 19 inch steel blade with a blunt point. The blade is made of un-tempered steel, a few slight kinks in it's length, and evidence of nicks in the cutting edge from childhood sword play. Attractive 5-branch brass guard with a lion head pommel, black composition grip. Black painted steel scabbard with two carrying rings, retaining about 80% of it's original finish, no dents.
