Original era manufacture. 26 inch curved steel blade with a polished finish. Normal spotting and graying from age but no corrosion damage. One piece cast brass hilt, no markings anywhere. Sound original black leather scabbard with tight stitching, missing only the small brass securing staple on the chape. This pattern sword was used by many nations of the era by both infantry and artillery units.
